Retail Sales Assistant – Burnham Market
Gun Hill Clothing Company is looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our team at our Burnham Market shop.
We are seeking a reliable, conscientious and friendly individual with a smart appearance and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Hours and Benefits
Initially, the role will be for 5 days per week, with an enhanced rate of pay for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Working hours are:
- Monday to Saturday: 9.15am – 5.15pm
- Sunday: 10.30am – 4.00pm
In addition to competitive pay, we offer a generous staff discount across our stores.
Applicants must be willing to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
As occasional cover may be required at our Holt shop, applicants must hold a driving licence and have access to a car.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with their purchases and providing excellent customer service
- Processing sales through our EPOS system
- Assisting with stock management and replenishment
- Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and attractive shop environment
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day store operations

Previous retail experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
