The Petalo pampeano dog collar features three stunning colours of navy, pale pink and bright fuchsia. A reinvigorated version of the ever-popular Hermoso with the added bright injection of colour through the vibrant fuchsia, the Petalo is a welcomed addition to the premium pampeano dog accessories collection.
The Petalo has been hand-crafted in South America by pampeano’s master artisans using an ancient, native practice of hand-craft which has been passed down through generations of local artisans. The finest cuts of leather are first hand-selected for their purest quality, before been naturally vegetable-tanned in an extensive and lengthy process which produces the most exquisite results. It is this that provides the leather with its rich colour and butter-soft handle, which only improves as it ages.
The iconic pampa diamonds and instantly recognizable blocks of colour are achieved by hand, where a single artisan uses wax-dipped saddlery threads to tightly weave the patterns into the thick leather; a meticulous process which can take up to five hours to complete. The robust threads are waxed so that they remain vibrant in colour, do not fray or rip, and are easy to clean by wiping down with a soapy, non-coloured sponge.
A matching petalo leather dog lead is also available for a coordinated set, which can also be personalised with your dog’s name. Optional personalisation of up to ten letters can be chosen and are hand-pressed into the thick Argentine leather of the dog lead.

There are six lengths available in this leather dog collar to ensure that every dog can be treated to a beautiful new collar. pampeano collars have sizes which range from 35cm (XXS) to 65cm (XXL). The dog leads are available in one standard length of 115cm and two widths –skinny (1.5cm) and standard (2.5cm)to suit the size of you chosen collar.
Material
Argentine Top Grain cow leather completed with a strong stainless steel buckle and D ring in an antique brass finish for secure lead attachments. The stitching is made of wax-dipped saddlery threads which are handstitched onto the leather with care.
Care
To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.
Try and keep your dog collar dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry.

We love dogs here at Gun Hill Clothing Company and what better way to spoil our furry friends than with a handwoven leather Pioneros dog collar. These stylish collars, which can be bought with a matching homespun lead are designed to be durable and robust.
Argentinian polo belts, such as Pioneros were originally used by Gauchos as a way of showing their team colours on the polo field. This elegant flair quickly branched out across the world. Pioneros now have their HQ in London and these belts can be found all over the UK and have found their way down to our pets. So much so, that these handmade collars are very accustomed to Norfolk beaches and pubs alike.
In terms of the creation of the collars, each one is handmade in the Pioneros factory in Buenos Aires. Using signature artisan techniques, the collars are all handcrafted using the world-renowned Argentinian leather. Then they are individually hand-embroidered with the vibrant Pampa diamond design.

We love dogs here at Gun Hill Clothing Company and what better way to spoil our furry friends than with a handwoven leather Pioneros dog lead. These stylish dog leads, which can be bought with a matching Pioneros collar are made with robust bridle leather and are designed to be durable.
Pioneros's origin comes from Argentinian polo belts, which were originally used by Gauchos as a way of showing their team colours on the polo field. This elegant flair quickly branched out across the world. Pioneros now have their HQ in London and these belts can be found all over the UK and have found their way down to our pets. So much so, that these handmade collars are very accustomed to Norfolk beaches and pubs alike.
In terms of the creation of the leads, each one is handmade in the Pioneros factory in Buenos Aires. Using signature artisan techniques, the leads are all handcrafted using the world-renowned Argentinian leather. Then they are individually hand-embroidered with the vibrant Pampa diamond design.

Confirmation
When we receive your order, you'll receive a confirmation message and will be able to track your order if you already use, or download, the Shop app - incidentally, the app lets you log in and pay at Gun Hill and many other online stores, swiftly, securely and easily.
What happens next
If it's Monday to Saturday, during the day, we'll pick and pack your order immediately from Burnham Market or Holt and take it to the post office and you should receive it the next day. If your order is placed towards the end of the working day, the post office may not be open or will have had their collection for the day, in which case your order may take an extra day to arrive. Overnight orders will be posted the following morning, Sunday orders will be posted on Monday morning. In any case, we will always try to ensure that your order is sent to you as quickly as possible.
Shipping information
Orders over £99 are sent free of charge in the UK. We usually specify first-class signed-for but occasionally use second-class signed-for for heavier items. We offer an express courier service at checkout at £11, where we will provide a courier, to try and ensure that we get the item to you next day, provided it is ordered within working hours.
- Smaller, lighter items may be sent at lower rates, or a service that can take a week or two to arrive can be used, do contact us for a quote, we're always happy to see if we can get your order to you as inexpensively as possible.
- Some jackets are sent with a Gun Hill branded jacket holder. If this is not returned with any returns there is a subsequent £5.00 deduction from the refund.
Store pick-up and local delivery
If you've chosen store pick up, your item(s) will be ready for you usually within two hours. If you would like them sooner (or later) just let us know and we'll do our best to help. If you live in a mile radius of the store at Burnham Market, we'll deliver it ourselves, usually during the day, but occasionally on our way home.
Returns, refunds and size changes
If you're not happy with any item, please return it to us in its original packaging in the same condition we sent it with tags still attached and we'll refund or replace or work something out with you. No worries. You can just send it to us at:
