New and exclusive to Gun Hill Clothing Company. Our luxurious, yet practical and hard-wearing overshirt is the perfect garment to be worn day in and out and stand the test of time. They are proudly made in Norfolk - in a factory full of experienced craftspeople, who have been making durable, honest garments for over 120 years.
The chore jackets are made from thick twill cotton that is 400 G/m thick. This gives it a really hard-wearing and naturally structured feel, whilst being an unstructured jacket. There are three different colours which are dark navy and navy (as shown below), plus a natural lovat green.

Made using fine leathers, technical layers and by craftsmen who have forgotten more about glove-making than most manufacturers know, the family business Martin Magnusson & Co. was founded in 1936 and is now run by the third and fourth generation of Magnussons. Both design and development is done at the headquarters in the small village of Hestra, Sweden.
Hestra gloves are manufactured in their own factories and they personally buy all leather, fabric, wool and other materials. This gives them control of the production chain and ensures a high level of quality. Several of their models are handmade by some of the most experienced glove makers in Europe.

Chest: Measurements taken from the widest part of your chest.
Shoulder: Measurement taken from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
Waist: Measurement taken from the smallest part of your waist, a little above your belly button.
Hips: Whilst standing in a natural stance measure the fullest part of the hips.
Inseam – Measure from the inner leg at the crutch to the foot (shoes off).
Confirmation
When we receive your order, you'll receive a confirmation message and will be able to track your order if you already use, or download, the Shop app - incidentally, the app lets you log in and pay at Gun Hill and many other online stores, swiftly, securely and easily.
What happens next
If it's Monday to Saturday, during the day, we'll pick and pack your order immediately from Burnham Market or Holt and take it to the post office and you should receive it the next day. If your order is placed towards the end of the working day, the post office may not be open or will have had their collection for the day, in which case your order may take an extra day to arrive. Overnight orders will be posted the following morning, Sunday orders will be posted on Monday morning. In any case, we will always try to ensure that your order is sent to you as quickly as possible.
Shipping information
Orders over £99 are sent free of charge in the UK. We usually specify first-class signed-for but occasionally use second-class signed-for for heavier items. We offer an express courier service at checkout at £11, where we will provide a courier, to try and ensure that we get the item to you next day, provided it is ordered within working hours.
- Smaller, lighter items may be sent at lower rates, or a service that can take a week or two to arrive can be used, do contact us for a quote, we're always happy to see if we can get your order to you as inexpensively as possible.
- Some jackets are sent with a Gun Hill branded jacket holder. If this is not returned with any returns there is a subsequent £5.00 deduction from the refund.
Store pick-up and local delivery
If you've chosen store pick up, your item(s) will be ready for you usually within two hours. If you would like them sooner (or later) just let us know and we'll do our best to help. If you live in a mile radius of the store at Burnham Market, we'll deliver it ourselves, usually during the day, but occasionally on our way home.
Returns, refunds and size changes
If you're not happy with any item, please return it to us in its original packaging in the same condition we sent it with tags still attached and we'll refund or replace or work something out with you. No worries. You can just send it to us at:

Knitted windproof vest with water-repellent quilted details. The vest is milano knitted in 100% exclusive wool yarn that is certified with bluesign®. High collar with knitted cotton on the inside. Pockets on the sides, two-way zipper and reflective details. The water-repellent quilted details have a membrane made of Swedish wool. The lining is windproof and consists of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. No chemicals are used to achieve the windproof function. Instead, the lining is manufactured with a special weaving technique that makes the fabric extremely tightly woven and therefore also windproof, while the fabric breathes. The water-repellent material (Piumi®) has a treatment that creates a water-repellent function. The treatment is ecological and free from fluorocarbon, which is a common chemical used to create waterproof fabrics. Piumi is also a material that breathes. The elastane makes the fabric stretchy, which means it stops the wind but not the movement. The fabrics are labeled with ÖKO-tex® Standard 100, which guarantees that the fabric is free from harmful substances. Sustainably made in Europe.
