After undergoing plaque radiotherapy at Moorfields Hospital and successfully treating the tumour, life began to return to normal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"759\"\u003eIn October 2025, just weeks after marrying Ruth on one of the happiest days of his life, devastating news changed everything. The cancer had spread to his liver, and what should have been a time filled with newlywed happiness and plans for the future suddenly became a whirlwind of scans, hospital appointments, and life-changing conversations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"988\"\u003eThere are over 200 rare cancers, and although they are termed “rare”, they collectively make up 47% of all cancer diagnoses. Tragically, rare cancers are often overlooked in terms of research, funding, and available treatments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1241\"\u003eOllie’s cancer, metastasised Ocular Melanoma, is an extremely rare and aggressive disease.
